SPORTING-GOODS giant Nike yesterday said Cathy Freeman would remain a company spokeswoman, despite retiring from her sport.
Nike wished Freeman ``all the best in her decision to retire", but she was still admired by many people, Nike said.
``Her devotion to running, her single-minded determination and her standing as a proud ambassador for Australia ensured she was, and still is, admired and loved by all Australians."
